Common ambitions
The Artois metropolitan center brings together 3 agglomerations, 150 municipalities for 650 inhabitants, 000 companies and 33 hectares of available land. This represents 000% of the population of Hauts-de-France and places it in 7th rank of the largest urban complexes of France, after Paris, Lyon, Lille, Marseille, Bordeaux and Toulouse.
Every year since 2017, the 3 blocks who constitute it and its industrial park the most important - that of the SIZIAF also called "Artois-Flandres" - participate in the SIMI in Paris under the "PMA" banner. They decided to go further by creating this showcase site to carry their ambitions and common projects loud and clear!
After taking advantage of the "Louvre-Lens effect", the territory is positioning itself as a champion ofeco-transition, with the Third Industrial Revolution of which it is a demonstrator on a regional scale. Its next challenge: that of hosting the ACC factory and developing an entire ecosystem around electromobility (more info here)...
