The SIZIAF

The mixed union SIZIAF brings together the urban areas of Béthune-Bruay and Lens-Liévin. Its mission is to develop, manage and market the Artois-Flanders Industrial Park. Located in the heart of Hauts-de-France, it is at the gates of the Lille metropolis in the municipalities of Douvrin and Billy Berclau. This park was created in 1970 on an area of 460 ha to accommodate new industrial activities with a view to the conversion of the mining basin. The first company to set up there was the French of Mechanics producing heat engines for light vehicles. The industrial development of the Parc des industries is currently being renewed with the arrival of the gigafactory of ACC batteries.
